Texting has to do with being so needy, that you have to be wired to your
friends 24/7 in order to validate your existence. It’s pathetic how people pull
out their phone while doing a certain task in order to keep themselves
connected with an individual for the rest of their day. Yet, what makes texting
so rude is how it’s as if half of the texter’s mind is put on the individuals
around him/her and the rest is wandering off with other people. If you are
having that great of a time interacting with friends/family in reality, why juggle
your concentration on someone who isn’t right beside you? Texting in front
of friends or family in an event is like a big slap to the face of common
courtesy, put in such a way that shows that you are essentially bored and
you wish to be elsewhere.
I’m closing commissions requests at the end of this week (2/26). I’m working on 3 commissions right now and I’m afraid I’ll be finishing some of them up in late March. Since March has no holidays, I’ll be quite busy with the few commissions I might receive this week along with some of my upcoming school assignments (particularly my french classes’ play). Because I have this whole week off due to a President’s Week holiday, now is the best time to request a commission.
